Gil Bar-Sela

Gil Bar-Sela is a coach, trainer, speaker, and facilitator specializing in personal development, human connection, authentic leadership, and conflict resolution. Born and raised in Israel, he experienced the realities of political conflict as both a civilian and a combatant, shaping his lifelong passion for healing and transformation. After moving to the United States, Gil began exploring the imprint of trauma—how unresolved experiences of conflict fragment individuals and communities, shape worldview, and limit what becomes possible. His own journey of coming out, moving across continents, changing careers, and navigating loss taught him to access his inner power to heal, adapt, and evolve.
For the past 14 years, Gil has helped individuals, teams, and communities cultivate connection and transformation. He has trained organizations to build thriving work cultures, spoken to thousands on the power of listening and gender equality, and collaborated with the Seattle Restorative Justice Initiative to create community-based responses to conflict. Gil co-leads annual delegations to Palestine and Israel with The Compassionate Listening Project and leads workshops, retreats, and private coaching globally. He is a Certified Trainer with the HeartMath Institute and a Certified Facilitator with The Compassionate Listening Project, with additional training in Fierce Conversations, Restorative Circles, Core Energetics, META, massage therapy, and shamanic practice.
